Columbia Youth Baseball & Softball Association (CYBSA)

About Us

The purpose of Columbia Hot Stove, also known as Columbia Youth Baseball & Softball Association (CYBSA) is to build character, citizenship, sportsmanship, and basic fundamentals & general knowledge of the game of baseball for boys and softball for girls. We offer programs for ages 3-18.

Our organization is still Columbia Hot Stove but this year we will start operating under the name of Columbia Youth Baseball & Softball Association (CYBSA). We felt that the time had come to update our name to acknowledge that we have teams competing in multiple leagues, not just in the Lorain County Hot Stove League. We currently have teams in the Lorain County Hot Stove League, Emerald Necklace Girls Fastpitch Association, Southwest Suburban Baseball League, Southwest Suburban Softball League, and an in-house coed toddler T-ball league. It is our goal to provide an opportunity for the Columbia community youth to learn, develop, refine skills, and have fun together while playing baseball or softball.
